![]() • Dhaja • Goblin • Human • Menhit •
While similar to a human's, their facial features are equally comparable to those of horses, tapirs, or moai. Their necks are very long and echo the curvature of their spines. Dhaja hands and feet are proportionally large for their bodies and have thick, hooflike nails. A potbelly set beneath a pronounced ribcage is the most common body type seen among their kind. Dhajas are unusual in that they are herbivorous, their bodies unable to properly digest and be nourished by meat; this doesn't stop the wealthy (or very determined) from including it in their diets, however. Dhajas excel at both scholarship and seamanship alike. They are easily the most intelligent of the species populating the world, quickly taking to new lores and languages, while their keen eyes are perfect for scouting the horizon; unfortunately for those who would dare pursue magic, they are on the whole rather inept at the arcane arts. A dhaja has a frail, if limber, body, with dextrous fingers. Bows, crossbows, and similar ranged weaponry are a favored choice of more martially-inclined members of the species, as while they cannot pull the massive bows that humans can, they are generally far more accurate with what they can use. Dhajas are also excellent swimmers. Most dhajas live in or near Liidhaga, though it is not uncommon to encounter them in Salvation or Loa Saray.
